CPPIC mobilizes its staff to offer top-notch service for the upcoming expo

China Pacific Property Insurance Co Ltd (CPPIC), a subsidiary of the insurance giant China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co Ltd, mobilized its staff on Saturday to offer first-class service for the forthcoming China International Import Expo (CIIE).

The Shanghai-based underwriter said that it has set up a well-trained team of technical personnel from different business lines to provide professional services such as product consultation, taking out insurance policies and claims settlement as well as backstage support in areas of risk control, law and information technology.

Chai Chenlin, section chief in charge of dealing with vehicle damage estimating via the social-networking platform WeChat at the Shanghai branch of CPPIC and also a member of the special team dedicated to serve the CIIE, said that they have established a team to offer exclusive and convenient claims service for government vehicles during the trade fair.

Chai added that boasting of over 30 professionals, they will be able to ensure customers easy, fast and high-quality claim service experience by integrating online and offline resources to facilitate them with self-assistant claims settlement.

Star-rated investigators from the insurer will call the policy-holders and guide them how to make self-help claims through their mobile phones, which will greatly shorten the clients’ waiting time in case an accident occurs.

Chai vowed her team will pay close attention to the operation of automobile insurance claims during the expo, respond quickly to any emergencies and deal with them in a timely manner.

Shao Feihao, a risk management engineer from China Pacific Property Insurance’s Shanghai office and also a member of the special team serving the CIIE, said that they had identified as many as 30 potential risks of 3 categories in a service proposal for the event’s organizer through continuous static analyses and dynamic simulations.

For example, Shao shared that given the past power consumption accidents at the National Convention and Exhibition Center, the host venue of the expo, he proposed to use infrared thermal imaging technology to make uninterrupted detections for all power supply and distribution equipment so as to ensure safe and stable power supply during the six-day event.

“Personnel security is our top priority,” he noted, “We have developed multiple safeguard solutions for the CIIE participants.” Shao and his teammates will work at the exhibition center to provide on-site services for guests from all around the world.
