Tourism pass allows admission to 1,400 attractions
Tai'erzhuang ancient city scenic area in Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province, a 5A (China's top grade) national tourist attraction, is included in the pass.
The Shanghai edition of an annual tourism pass allowing admission to more than 1,400 attractions across China has been released.
The pass, released in Shanghai on Tuesday, covers attractions in 210 cities nationwide.
The list of attractions accepting the pass includes the world cultural heritage village of Xidi, Anhui Province; the Terra-Cotta Warriors in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province; the Tianmu Grand Canyon in neighboring Zhejiang Province; Tai'erzhuang ancient city scenic area in Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province; and Zhijin Cave in southwestern Guizhou Province.
Zhijin Cave Scenic Spot is famous for its massive stalagtites, stalagmites, stone pillars and stone pagodas.
The pass also includes attractions like Dongping National Forest Park and Shanghai Insect Museum.
The pass costs 198 yuan (US$28.71) and can be purchased via the WeChat account Glomax Travel and travel agencies in Shanghai.
